Graphic representation in relation to the production of knowledge both about the architectural fact in its different facets and about the graphic and architectural discipline itself. For this purpose, different approaches may be proposed, both traditional and technological.

The role of graphic activity as a logical and thinking activity. Graphic work as an explorer and generator of ideas in works, authors and experiences. Strokes, gestures and materials as activators of the projectual fact, both manual and automated.

# Graphic ideation, creativity, graphic thinking, mock-ups and prototypes, semantics of form, generative design, shape grammars, etc.

3.- Lines for analysis:

Use of the graphic image to understand what surrounds us. Drawing as a scalpel of architecture, city, and landscape. Graphic language and data management as tools for spatial analysis.

# Representation, geometry and analysis, architectural and narrative drawing. Diagrams, infographics and diagrammatics. Space syntax. 3D modeling, cartography and mapping, photogrammetry, surveying, geomatics, GIS, etc.

4.- Lines for production:

Graphic expression oriented to the production of the architectural fact, as a tool for synthesis, definition, and production. Representation systems and automated graphic processes at the service of technology and construction.

# Architectural production drawing, graphics and construction processes, BIM, virtual and augmented reality, digital fabrication, visual programming, parametric and procedural design, etc.

5.- Lines for teaching:

Theory and practice of teaching drawing. The graphic experience as learning in the architectural discipline. Evolution of the method, the student and his experience. Tradition and innovation in graphic teaching in architecture schools. New challenges
